I did a half hour on the stationary bike, and it was a much harder workout than I thought it would be! I'm too short to run in the pool with the belt on, so i guess the bike will be my primary exercise and I'll just swim for fun.

I went on a walk this evening. It was around 4-5 miles. My foot felt exceptional today, due to all the icing i did prior to the walk. I think its starting to heal up and hopefully I can start running soon.

Christopher and I went up to the elementary school playground for what I thought was to have fun. But instead he forced me to do core. It wasn't very fun.

We arrived in Arcata, CA today. I went swimming at the hotel pool when we got here, and I'm now back to doing my usual spastic bouts of racing to the car, a tree, etc with christopher without much pain in my foot. It was painful though when i was running full speed and he came up behind me and pushed me to the ground. Don't be fooled by outwardly calm demeanor, he's a freakin bully!

So today we were doing a hike in the redwoods, and I decided that I would run the first part and walk back down if my foot didn't hurt too bad. Turns out it felt pretty ok. This was without a doubt the best run i've ever done, because it was so beautiful and the weather was perfect for running, the high for today waas 59. The redwood trees went up and up for hundreds of feet but you could only see halfway up because the trail was blanketed with a thick layer of fog. On the way back I was kind of tired of hiking and got lost a little so it wasn't as pleasant but all in a a swell day.

More hiking today and a little bit of swimming after lunch. The running I did yesterday hasn't seemed to aggravate my foot much, so that's a very good sign!
